But it is not only that simple, each task must be carried out from scientific methods (deductive, inductive, etc.) and as far as possible with the greatest objectivity, without neglecting that, like criminology, criminology does not work alone, it is supported by many sciences and other disciplines, to give a few examples:
-
Ballistics
-
Documentscopy
-
Fingerprint
-
Fire and explosives
-
Toxicology
-
Chemistry
-
Forensic photography
-
Hematology
All of them for the sake of justice, each one with its own specific methods and techniques that make them truly unique and that as a whole radiate knowledge of a great magnitude.
On the other hand, it is important to mention that as part of this discipline we find that its investigation stages take us from the preservation, observation and fixation, collection and packaging of evidence, as well as the chain of custody and the processing of clues are part of their duties, as in many articles, books and conferences their importance has been discussed and emphasized, with meticulousness; The chain of custody is a fundamental part and that it must be carried out with the most scrupulous objectivity and professionalism, so every day those who are more closely related and close to it are trained, instructed and informed, as well as their respective updating.
